Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority (PERA) has been established through the enactment of the Punjab Enforcement & Regulation Act, 2024 by the Government of Punjab (GoPb) with an aim to streamline regulatory measures across the Punjab for better and more effective enforcement of special laws.
The Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) invites applications from qualified, dynamic, and motivated individuals for the position of “Investigation Officer (BS 11)”. Prescribed Qualification and Skill as per PERA Service Regulations:

1. Bachelor’s degree (Honors) or equivalent (at least 2^nd division) from a HEC recognized university
2. Driving Skill (Motorcycle/Car/LTV)

Areas of Responsibilities:

• To assist the SDEOs and EOs in enforcement of the scheduled laws.
• To exercise such powers and carry out such functions as may be prescribed by rules/regulations.
• To assist the SDEO, EO in exercising their powers under the Act.
• Evidence collection, preservation and its presentation on the relevant forum through electronic means and modern devices as prescribed.
• File complaints and get FIRs registered at the Enforcement Stations
• To carry out inspections of public property or private property strictly in accordance with the Act.
• Documenting and verifying information
• Issue notices to the offenders and the concerned persons under the act.
• Confiscate/seize items/goods/articles/property used in the commission of an offence.
• Arrest an offender as prescribed in the Act and the Code
• Maintain register(s) of seized/confiscated items and designate a place/store for confiscated items.
• Provide for the security of the seized items, till they remain in his custody.
• Use reasonable force in case of retaliation / obstruction as prescribed.
• Conduct inquiries and submission of reports
• Any other function may be delegated by the authority.

• The ability to maintain composure under pressure.

• Analytical skills and positive attitude
• Must be proficient in the use of IT
• Must be proficient in the application of scheduled laws and procedures related to PERA
• Physical fitness (Must not have any kind of physical disability).

1. No relaxation in age, education or physical standards shall be allowed to any person including the Government Servants. Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment (Relaxation in Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1976 are not applicable for these posts.

4. The applicant whose documents are verified, will be issued challan and identification slips for physical test. The identification slip will only be issued after the challan is paid through PayZen against the PSID mentioned in challan and cutoff date for submission of application.
