BCL is looking for a qualified professional for the position of Assistant Manager Procurement at Islamabad.
Details are as follows:
Position Title: Assistant Manager Procurement
Location: Islamabad
Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for ensuring smooth procurement of Mechanical, Civil, Administration and Marketing related items for all plants.
Qualification and Experience:
- BBA / MBA (Specialization in Supply Chain)
- 02 to 03 years of relevant experience.
Specific Requirements:
- Good verbal and written communication skills. negotiation skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP.
Job Description:
- Review comparative statement and complete the process for management approval.
- Issuance of purchase orders and dispatch the purchase orders to suppliers.
- Follow up for material deliveries with suppliers.
- Coordinate with Plant and Finance department for resolution of any post-dispatch issues.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders for negotiation of high value purchasing and finalization of any long term contract.
