Wateen is looking for the services of a qualified and skilled professional for the position of “UI/UX Designer” at Lahore.
Details are as follows:
Position Title: UI/UX Designer
Location: Lahore
Position Summary:
In this role, the incumbent will work end-to-end on product design—transforming ideas into intuitive, scalable, and user-centric solutions. The candidate will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders while contributing to a high-performance, learning-driven environment. They will combine strong design fundamentals with hands-on experience in AI-driven tools and a deep understanding of design systems, enabling them to design efficiently at scale.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in UX, Computer Science, IT, Design, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design.
- Demonstrated experience designing for web and mobile applications.
- A strong portfolio is mandatory.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and accessibility standards.
- Experience in building and working with design systems.
- Familiarity with AI-driven design tools and workflows.
- Ability to conduct user research and apply insights to design improvements.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Effective time management and ability to handle multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive and visually compelling experiences for web and mobile platforms.
- Translate user needs and business requirements into wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Develop interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Build, maintain, and evolve design systems and component libraries for scalability and consistency.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate ideation, research, and prototyping.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and journey mapping to inform design decisions.
- Continuously optimize user experiences using data, analytics, and user feedback.
- Identify UX issues and implement effective, user-centered solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless design implementation.
- Stay updated with emerging design trends, tools, and AI advancements.
