Applications are invited from suitable candidates for appointment on a contract basis for a period of two (02) years in the Policy Wing, Petroleum Division, Ministry of Energy, against the following positions:
Details are as follows:
Position Title: Director Technical
No. of Positions: 04
Location: Islamabad
Grade: BPS-19
Age: Up to 45 Years (5 years of age relaxation has already been added)
Quota: Punjab (2), Sindh (Rural) (1), KPK (1)
Required Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent recognized by Govt. in Petroleum/ Mechanical/ Chemical/ Mining/ Electrical/ Refining/ Energy or 2nd class Master’s degree in Petroleum Geology/ Geophysics/Geology/ Gas Technology.
- 12 years’ experience in petroleum related fields or Petroleum related Engineering fields including 7 years’ experience in BPS-18 or equivalent to BPS-18 in Government/ Semi-Government or commercial organization of repute.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the production of oil and gas from the existing fields and suggest ways and means for increasing the production.
- Monitoring of development plans and overseeing the development of new oil and gas fields.
- Monitoring of drilling operations of the oil companies on daily basis.
- Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly oil and gas production/sales reports.

- 5 years’ experience in petroleum related fields or Petroleum related Engineering fields in BPS-17 or equivalent in Government/ Semi-Government or commercial organization of repute.
