WASA invites applications from interested candidates for recruitment on contract basis for the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the project titled “Lahore Wastewater and Drainage Management Project (LWDMP) – Sewerage System from Larechs Colony to Gulshan-e-Ravi Lahore (Through Trenchless Technology)” to be funded by Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
We are currently hiring for the position of Manager (Admin & Finance), based in Lahore.
Details are as follows:

Employment Status: Contract
Monthly Salary: 300,000 – 500,000
Qualification and Experience:
- ACCA / ACMA / MBA in Finance from HEC recognized university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the public or multinational private sector.
Job Responsibilities:
- Overall in charge of the relevant section of the Administration and Financial Unit for successful completion within time schedule and approved annual budget.
- Overall management of finance and administration of PMU, providing support to Project Director to ensure efficient management.
- Responsible for the overall financial administration and preparation of annual budgets and financial reports/statements, audit of accounts, and supervise the grant withdrawal and disbursement functions.
- Coordinate with Bank, EAD, Finance Department, GoPb, HUD & PHED, AG Office, etc. for all financial matters including preparation of cheques/vouchers, opening of accounts, disbursement of payments, preparation and seeking approval of SNE.
- Responsible to process payments upon recommendation of respective Managers.
- Responsible for the issue of various Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly End Financial Reports to the Bank, A.G & Govt. of Punjab.
- Ensure control and maintain overall financial discipline in disbursements reimbursement of funds of the projects.
- Ensure good employee relations through training, coaching and counseling with them and thereby maintaining a congenial and conducive working environment on the projects.
- Computerization of the accounting system.
- Liaison with finance and account departments to ensure timely payments.
- Perform final closeout of assigned contracts; e.g., assure delivery, inspection, and acceptance of contractual end items and that all administrative and reporting actions have been resolved before recommending final closeout of the contract.
- Perform related duties and fulfill responsibilities as required.
- Any other task assigned by the PD during the project.
