Samba Bank is looking for a Credit Risk Analyst in Lahore and Karachi.
Details are as follows:
Position Title: Credit Risk Analyst
Job Type: Full Time/Permanent
Location: Lahore, Karachi
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors (preferably, Masters, in Business, Finance or related fields and/or CFA, FRM , ACA, ACCA qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Corporate/Commercial credit reviews
- Knowledge and Understanding of Islamic Banking
- Excellent Research and Analytics skills
- Excellent Presentation and Communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Review Credit Approvals for all business (Corporate, SME, DSCSF) in line with SBP regulation and bank policies.
- Conduct comprehensive financial, business, and industry analysis of existing and NTB Corporate/SME clients
- Conduct due diligence of credit proposals, red-flag major risk factors and ensure healthy and sustainable credit portfolio.
- Conduct regular Portfolio Reviews and Stress Test Exercises
- Maintain close liaison with business units to ensure accuracy of credit proposals.
- Update Management of any early warning signals in any particular account and /or sector.
- Conduct research on current economic scenario, industry trend, dynamics, financial markets and government policies impacting relevant industries and prepare reports
- Coordinate with all stakeholders on ESRM and Green Banking implementation
- Prepare presentations for Management Reporting
