The City School is looking to fill the position of Junior Manager Design & Construction at the Regional Office – North, Islamabad.
Details are as follows:
Position Title: Junior Manager Design & Construction
Locations: Islamabad
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 1-3 years relevant experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing construction and renovation projects from initiation to completion.
- Support in overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Work alongside architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and review structural designs, drawings, and plans using AutoCAD and other design tools.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure that all construction work meets the required standards and specifications.
- Provide technical support on structural design and construction methods to project teams and contractors.
- Support in monitoring project budgets, controlling costs, and preparing financial reports related to construction and renovation projects.
- Assist in liaising with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Help identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and quality.
- Assist in preparing regular project updates, progress reports, and status reviews for senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure that construction activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Regular travel to various project sites within the Northern Region is required.
