The Urban Unit was established in 2005 as a Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Planning and Development Department under Government of the Punjab. In 2012, the PMU was transformed into an independent private sector company, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), and is fully owned by Government of the Punjab.
The Urban Unit is looking for the services of exceptionally sound and self-motivated professional for the position of “Android Developer”.
Details are as follows:
Position: Android Developer

Employment Status: Contract
Gender: Both
Age: 18 – 35
Qualification and Experience:
- Education: 16 years of qualification in Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT) / Software Engineering (SE) / Computer Engineering (CE)/ GIS or related discipline from HEC recognized institution
- Experience: Minimum 02years of relevant experience.
OR - Education: 18 years of qualification in Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT) / Software Engineering (SE) / Computer Engineering (CE) / GIS or related discipline from HEC recognized institution
- Experience: Minimum 01 years of relevant experience.
OR - Education: 16 years with Foreign qualification in Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT) / Software Engineering (SE) / Computer Engineering (CE) / GIS or related discipline from HEC recognized institution.
- Experience: Fresh.
Job Description:
- Design and develop Android applications from concept to deployment of the Project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Testing, debugging and evaluating applications.
- Identifying areas for modification in existing applications and developing these modifications.
- Maintaining and upgrading existing applications.
- Performing different assignments and developments as assigned by the task lead, manager.
