The Urban Unit was established in 2005 as a Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Planning and Development Department under Government of the Punjab. In 2012, the PMU was transformed into an independent private sector company, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), and is fully owned by Government of the Punjab. We are hiring “GIS Web Developer” at Lahore. Details are as follows:
Qualification & Experience:
Education :Minimum 16 years of education IT/CS/Software Engineering or related discipline from HEC recognized university
Experience: Fresh Candidate with 16 years of education.
Job Description:
- Responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to functionality, ensuring user-friendly, visually appealing, and performance-optimized experiences.
- Develop and maintain web applications using modern frameworks.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Integrate backend services and APIs.
- Test and debug websites for functionality and responsiveness.
- Proficiency in front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (Node.js, PHP, etc.) development.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of database management (SQL or NoSQL).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Perform any office related task assigned by Task Lead
- Reporting to TL
