We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Men’s Western Wear Designer specializing in knits and printed T-shirts. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of men’s western fashion trends, garment construction, and print techniques, along with hands-on graphic design skills to create impactful designs for placement prints, all-over prints, and branding graphics.
Details are as follows:
Position Title: Men’s Western Wear Designer
Location: Lahore
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design / Textile Design / Graphic Design or equivalent.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in men’s western wear design knits & printed tees.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other graphic design tools.
- Strong knowledge of knit fabrics, print techniques screen printing, DTG, sublimation, etc., and garment construction.
- Excellent sense of style, color coordination, and market relevance.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills
Job Responsibilities:
Design & Development
- Create seasonal collections for men’s western knits and printed tees in line with brand aesthetics and market trends.
- Develop original artwork, graphics, and prints using industry-standard software Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc..
- Work on technical drawings, CADs, and mood boards to communicate concepts effectively.
Trend & Market Research
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, fabrics, colors, and print techniques in men’s western wear.
- Analyze competitor products and suggest innovations to maintain brand competitiveness.
Product Execution
- Collaborate with merchandisers, product developers, and factories to ensure designs meet cost, quality, and timeline requirements.
- Approve samples, prints, colors, and trims during the development process.
Graphic Design Integration
- Design placement graphics, logos, and typography suitable for western-style tees.
- Ensure seamless integration of graphics into garment design while maintaining brand identity.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team for campaign visuals, look books, and promotional content.
- Coordinate with the production team for fabric selection, print execution, and quality checks.
