The Urban Sector Planning & Management Services Unit (Urban Unit), a project of the Planning & Development Board, Government of the Punjab, has been at the forefront of crafting sustainable urban solutions across Pakistan for the past 18 years. Dedicated to transforming urban landscapes, we support governments in making cities more functional, livable, and sustainable.
We are currently seeking the services of a highly skilled and self-driven professional for the role of Web Developer at Lahore.
Details are as follows:
Position: Web Developer
Location: Lahore
No. of Positions: 01
Employment Status: Contract
Gender: Both
Age: 18 – 35
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum 16 years of education IT/CS/Software Engineering/BBA or related discipline from HEC recognized university
- Minimum 0-2 Years’ Experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to functionality, ensuring user-friendly, visually appealing, and performance-optimized experiences.
- Develop and maintain web applications using modern frameworks.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Integrate backend services and APIs.
- Test and debug websites for functionality and responsiveness.
- Proficiency in front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (Node.js, PHP, etc.) development.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of database management (SQL or NoSQL).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Perform any office related task assigned by Task Lead
- Reporting to TL
