Starch Pack, a subsidiary of Packages Group since 2021, leverages cutting-edge technology to produce a diverse range of corn-based starches and derivatives. We are looking for a motivated and energetic professional for the position of Assistant Sales Manager at Lahore.

Position Title: Assistant Sales Manager

Position Purpose:
The Assistant Sales Manager (ASM) maintains and grows relationships with small and medium-sized customers while achieving an assigned sales and profit growth goals. Reporting to Area Marketing Manager (AMM), the ASM is expected to retain existing business, expands StarchPack’s share of customer’s purchases and offer new products and services to assigned customers accounts along with business development and onboarding new customers and payment collection. The mode of communication with customers includes telephone, email, face to face meetings. The job includes extensive travelling.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:
- University Degree BBA/MBA, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Fresh – 1 year experience in B2B Sales
- Industry experience of starch application in Paper & Board, Textiles and/or foods will be preferred
- Negotiation Skills
- Analytical Skills
- Good Presentation & Communications Skills Proficiency in MS Excel
Job Responsibilities:
- Assure retaining of customer volume, sale and profitability through proactive stewardship of StarchPack’s relationship with assigned customer accounts in small and medium sized segments.
- Achieve sales and profitability targets, meets customer satisfaction levels to retain and achieve the growth targets of assigned customers.
- Penetrate assigned accounts by offering new and additional products or services to increase the share and find out new customers within the similar segment.
- Business development as per the assigned targets.
- Proactively manage customer’s satisfaction and service delivery by anticipating potential service problems and monitoring satisfaction.
- Asist other team members with customers other than his own portfolio when required.
- Function as a key interface between the customer and all relevant departments of StarchPack.
- Payment collection and ensuring timey collection of credit as per the company policy.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are strictly followed by everyone. Serves as a safety representative to assure safety rules and regulations are strictly followed
