Physical Criteria:

Qualification:

Higher Secondary School Certificate 2^nd Div. with Science, Premedical or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board

Method of Recruitment: By initial recruitment, as per Punjab Forestry and Wildlife (Wildlife Executive) Service rules 1978 as amended 2024.

Note: Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in the Punjab.

Domicile Requirement: Punjab only

Job Responsibilities:

To patrol in his jurisdiction to ensure protection of wildlife species against poaching and damage to wildlife due to fire, hunters, etc.
To carry out works of wildlife conservation like improvement of habitat, artificial feeding, development of water points, etc.
To be fully familiar with his area and to have up-to-date knowledge of wildlife in that area
To enforce effectively the applicable law, policy, and rules.
To prevent commission of wildlife offence, to report all such activities and to initiate proceedings under law.
To assist in proper prosecution
To undertake any other assigned duty
