Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority (PERA) has been established through the enactment of the Punjab Enforcement & Regulation Act, 2024 by the Government of Punjab (GoPb) with an aim to streamline regulatory measures across the Punjab for better and more effective enforcement of special laws.

Position Title: Investigation Officer (BS 11)

Age: 22 – 28 Years
Proposed place of Posting: Anywhere in Punjab (preferably within concerned Division)

Required Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree (Honors) or equivalent (at least 2^nd division) from a HEC recognized university

Areas of Responsibilities:

To assist the SDEOs and EOs in enforcement of the scheduled laws.
To exercise such powers and carry out such functions as may be prescribed by rules/regulations.
To assist the SDEO, EO in exercising their powers under the Act.
Evidence collection, preservation and its presentation on the relevant forum through electronic means and modern devices as prescribed.
File complaints and get FIRs registered at the Enforcement Stations
To carry out inspections of public property or private property strictly in accordance with the Act.
Documenting and verifying information
Issue notices to the offenders and the concerned persons under the act.
Confiscate/seize items/goods/articles/property used in the commission of an offence.
Arrest an offender as prescribed in the Act and the Code
Maintain register(s) of seized/confiscated items and designate a place/store for confiscated items.
Provide for the security of the seized items, till they remain in his custody.
Use reasonable force in case of retaliation / obstruction as prescribed.
Conduct inquiries and submission of reports
Any other function may be delegated by the authority.

How to Apply:

No relaxation in age, education or physical standards shall be allowed to any person including the Government Servants. Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment (Relaxation in Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1976 are not applicable for these posts.
Interested candidates must first register themselves at Punjab Job Portal [https://jobs.punjab.gov.pk/].
The candidates are advised to provide their complete educational information like Matriculation, Intermediate and Graduation (Honors) degrees otherwise the digital system-based validation may not allow them to proceed further for completion of online application process.
After creating the account, the applicant through his/ her account shall fill in the application form against the advertised positions of PERA by submitting necessary information and required documents i.e. Photo*, CNIC (Front & Back), Domicile, Police Verification Certificate (optional), Driving License (Motorcycle/Car/LTV whichever is available, not mandatory) etc.

The applicant whose documents are verified, will be issued challan and identification slips for physical test. The identification slip will only be issued after the challan (PKR 400) is paid through PayZen against the PSID mentioned in challan before or on date of submission of applications. (Process: Any Mobile Banking App > Payment Option > Payment Service > 1Bill Service > PSID > Payment (PSID can been seen in “Saved Jobs” Section of Punjab Job Portal which shall be available to the candidates once they applied on the position)

Important Information:

Syllabus for written examination / test and general instructions will be communicated to all candidates applying for PERA jobs on their given emails and website of PERA (pera.punjab.gov.pk/careers)
Only digitally issued domicile and driving license (Motorcycle/Car/LTV) are acceptable.

Salary and Benefits:
