Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) invites applications for the positions of “Dy. Chief Internal Audit (QAIP)” and “Dy. Chief Internal Audit (IT Audit)”. Details are as follows:
Job Title: Dy. Chief Internal Audit (QAIP)
Supervisory Responsibility:
The Deputy Chief Internal Audit (QAIP) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) for the Internal Audit Department. This role ensures that audit activities comply with international standards, regulatory requirements, and the organization’s policies, contributing to continuous improvement and value delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive QAIP aligned with professional standards (e.g., IIA Standards) and the department’s strategic goals.
- Perform regular assessments of audit work, including audit plans, fieldwork, and reports, to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Track and analyze QAIP performance metrics to assess the program’s effectiveness.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and ensure effective adoption of SAP Audit Management tools.
- Develop and deliver training programs on quality assurance, audit methodologies, and professional standards to audit staff.
- Maintain knowledge of current auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Prepare and present regular reports on QAIP activities, findings, and recommendations to management and the audit committee.
- Act as a liaison with external auditors and assessors, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
Requisite Qualification & Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Chartered Certified Accountant having at-least 10 years of relevant experience with minimum 05 years in Internal Audit preferably managing Quality Assurance initiatives.
- Candidates having CIA/CISA/CISM certification and knowledge of ERP SAP and relevant experience of Oil & Gas Sector will be given preference.
- In case of CA/CMA/ACCA, membership with the relevant body will be mandatory. The article-ship period in case of Chartered Accountants will be counted as experience.
Job Title: Dy. Chief Internal Audit (IT Audit)
Supervisory Responsibility:
The Deputy Chief Internal Audit (IT Audit) will assist the Head of Internal Audit in managing the IT Audit function and executing IT audits, ensuring effective planning, execution, review, and reporting of IT audits and related assignments. This role also involves supervising and mentoring team members and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the IT Audit Universe and Annual IT Audit Plan aligned with organizational risks. Identify IT vulnerabilities, propose risk mitigation strategies, and ensure robust governance.
- Oversee IT audits, evaluate IT controls for compliance, and deliver high-quality reports to stakeholders in line with international internal auditing standards.
- Ensure adherence to standards like NIST 800-82, ISO 27001, and COBIT, staying updated on regulations. Leverage data analytics to enhance audit insights and risk management.
- Mentor and train audit staff on ITGC, application controls, AI, and emerging technologies.
Requisite Qualification & Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Chartered Certified Accountant or Masters’ in Computer Sciences/IT/Information Systems/IT Governance or Security having at-least 10 years’ of relevant experience in the field of Audit/Governance/ Security in IT. Candidates having relevant experience of Oil & Gas Sector will be given preference.
- CISA/CISM certification and knowledge of ERP SAP is compulsory.
