National Logistics Corporation (NLC) invites applications from competent and highly motivated professional to join against the position of “Senior Manager Legal” at Rawalpindi.
Details are as follows:
Position: Senior Manager Legal
Location: Rawalpindi
Age: Up to 55 Years
Required Qualification & Experience:
- LLB from a reputable HEC recognized university.
- Must be enrolled as an Advocate of High Court with the respective Bar Council, with minimum 8 years of legal & corporate affairs experience.
Job Description:
- Provide legal advice to senior management on service, commercial, corporate, labor, tax and all other legal issues to ensure that decisions taken are legally correct and that NLC’s interests are safeguarded.
- Represent the organization before courts and tribunals to ensure that NLC’s interests are effectively safeguarded.
- Having the capacity and experience to manage litigation and establish liaison with external counsel.
- Having the ability and capacity to draft / vet documents including but not limited to agreements, plaints, petitions, appeals, applications, written statements, replies, comments and any other documents requiring legal input.
- Having experience in rendering legal opinion as required by the management on time to time basis.
- Must be having excellent computer skills and able to work with computer applications for office use such as PowerPoint, Word etc.
- Maintain and remain updated on developments in the legal field which might affect the organization and prepare reports on relevant matters for consideration by senior management.
- Direct and manage the staff of legal department to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained so that they carry out their responsibilities as per desired standards.
- Having the ability to work independently and jointly as a team with other members of the Branch/Section.
- Must possess excellent communication and drafting skills including legal drafting.
