NADRA is inviting applications, from energetic and self-driven individuals who are ready to contribute actively to the organization, for the position of “Assistant Director (Legal)” at Islamabad.
Details are as follows:
Position Title: Assistant Director (Legal)
Location: Islamabad
Employment Status: Contractual
Age Limit: 40 years
Educational Qualification:
- LL.B or Bar at Law
- Minimum 16 Years of HEC verified education is a must
- Degrees must be attested by HEC
Professional Experience:
- Preferably 5 years of relevant experience in relevant role.
Skills & Competencies:
- Support the drafting and revision of rules, regulations, and legal frameworks for government approval.
- Help implement compliance frameworks for data protection, privacy, and security regulations.
- Conduct research and provide legal analysis on national and international laws impacting NADRA’s functions.
- Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements and assist in conducting risk assessments.
- Collaborate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure policy alignment.
- Prepare reports, recommendations, and legal documents to support senior management decisions.
- Prepare legal opinions on policy, compliance, and regulatory matters to guide decision-making.
- Strong understanding of Pakistani laws related to citizenship, registration, data protection, and privacy.
- Excellent research, analytical, legal drafting, and opinion writing skills, with a strong command of written and verbal communication.
Terms & Conditions:
- Selected candidate will be hired initially for contract period of 5 years (extendable if required).
- Management reserves the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
- Candidate shall be disqualified if false information is provided.
- Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide/attach No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of submission of application.
- 5 years’ relaxation in age is already included in above age limit.
- Selected candidate shall provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
- No TA/DA will be admissible.
- Attested degrees from Higher Education Commission (HEC)/ relevant regulatory bodies must be provided at the time of interview.
- Females, Minority, Transgenders and Differently-abled candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Electronic gadgets, mobile phones, smart watches etc. will not be allowed during test and interview.
- The deadline for submission of application is 26 October, 2025 and only online applications will be accepted.
