The Ministry of Human Rights invites applications for the position of Director General (BPS 20) of Child Protection Institute (CPI)) on contract basis for a period of three years.

Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s or above Degree in Social Work /Sociology with 2nd Division from the HEC recognized University.
- 17 Years’ experience in the field of child rights, human rights, project management, finance, monitoring, evaluation, research related to international covenants/ conventions on human rights in public or private sector.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership and Management:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the Institute’s mission and objectives.
- Oversee all operational and programmatic functions, ensuring alignment with the Institute’s goals.
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of professionals to achieve high standards of performance and accountability.
2. Policy Development and Advocacy:
- Advocate for child protection policies and legislative reforms at local, national, and international levels.
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to influence and develop effective child protection policies.
- Stay abreast of global trends and best practices in child protection and integrate these into the Institute’s strategies and programs.
3. Program Development and Implementation:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services that address the needs of vulnerable children.
- Ensure that all programs are evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and effectively meet the needs of the children served.
- Monitor program outcomes and impact, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation to changing needs.
4. Resource Mobilization and Financial Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to secure funding from diverse sources, including government grants, private donations, and international aid.
- Oversee the Institute’s financial management, ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective use of resources.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, financial reports, and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
5. Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, international organizations, donors, and community leaders.
