WaterAid Pakistan invites job applications of suitable candidate for the position of Knowledge Management & Learning Coordinator” at Islamabad.
Details are as follows:

Location: Islamabad

Role Purpose:

As our Knowledge Management & Learning Coordinator, you will lead the development and dissemination of high-quality WASH knowledge products aligned with strategic priorities, ensuring evidence and lessons learned are effectively packaged for diverse audiences. You will strengthen internal knowledge-sharing systems and promote a culture of learning through collaboration and exchange, while enhancing external visibility and strategic communication to increase organizational influence and contribute to improved WASH programme outcomes.

You will work closely with the Senior Management Team, WAP staff, Regional & Global PMER teams, partners, donors and other relevant stakeholders to drive sustainable change.

Requirements

Essential skills:

  • At least seven (07) years’ professional experience relevant to the assignment as defined in the terms of reference.
  • Experience in developing knowledge products such as reports, briefs, case studies, success stories, and digital content for development projects.
  • Ability to manage content for digital platforms, including updating project pages and organizing digital repositories
  • Equally at ease with both field-based and desk-based work, with practical problem-solving skills.
  • Master’s degree in social sciences or any relevant field.

Desirable skills

  • Demonstrated experience in knowledge management, including documenting success stories, lessons learned, and maintaining organized knowledge repositories.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyse, and translate data into high-quality knowledge products for both web and print.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in collecting and recording success stories, challenges, lessons learned, and contribute thematically, programmatically and operationally in other relevant publications, while developing practical recommendations to strengthen and advance overall knowledge management efforts.
  • Conduct research, involve in data collection, data analysis, document and generate knowledge materials to be published in both web-based and printed forms.
  • Coordinate with programme team and ensure timely collection of information as required for producing results-based reports and other knowledge products.
  • Oversee and maintain the organization’s knowledge repository, ensuring that all research, reports, and relevant documents are systematically organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Provide comprehensive support to advocacy and Influencing initiatives by systematically documenting all activities, processes, and strategies undertaken. Ensure that detailed records are maintained for each advocacy effort, capturing key decisions, stakeholder engagements, communications, and outcomes.
  • Leverage field experiences and shared insights to document learning pathways and solutions to WASH challenges to highlight WAP’s impact.
  • Plan and conduct regular reflection/after action review sessions with internal teams and external stakeholders. This includes identifying learning questions, setting practical goals, and capturing insights to support continuous improvement and adaptive management.
  • Support programme implementation team in developing project monitoring plans (PMPs) that detail out M&E requirements for projects against set indicators.
