Style Textile is hiring for the position of Tax Lead at Lahore.
Details are as follows:
Position Title: Tax Lead
Location: Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Lahore
Requirements
- Required qualifications include CA (Inter) or ACCA.
- 3–5 years of work experience in Pakistan taxation with reputable organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Income Tax Ordinance, Sales Tax Act and provincial tax laws.
- Strong technical knowledge of tax systems.
- Strong analytical skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file monthly and annual income tax and sales tax returns.
- Manage the input and output of tax reconciliations and ensure accuracy of tax related GLs.
- Maintain accurate records of tax documentation, exemption certificates, vendor NTN/STR compliance and CPR.
- Prepare monthly and annual income tax provisions.
- Monitor and update key tax ledgers including advance tax, WHT receivables, STR input and tax payable.
- Coordinate and prepare responses for FBR audits and related notices.
- Handle audits and queries from provincial authorities including data gathering and reconciliations.
- Liaise with external tax advisors on complex tax matters.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for withholding tax and sales tax operational processes.
- Strengthen internal tax controls through improved ERP/system configurations and automation.
- Deliver internal tax training sessions for Finance, Procurement and Sales teams to ensure compliance.
