Job Opportunity at Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC)
Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) Division is seeking applications from qualified, dynamic and experienced professionals for contract-based positions, on open merit, under the PSDP-funded “Invest Pakistan” project. Applications are invited for the position of “IT Support Assistant” at Islamabad.
Details are as follows:
Position Title: IT Support Assistant
No. of Positions: 01
Pay Scale: PPS-05
Employment Status: Contract
Location: Islamabad
Domicile Quota: Merit
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as of deadline for application submission.
Qualification & Experience:
- BCS (16 years of education in relevant field) OR B.Sc. (14 years) with 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
- 3 years relevant experience in case of 14 years of education.
Job Description:
- Installing and updating software and applications / drivers on office computers, laptops and other hardware such as printer, scanners etc.
- Assisting with the setup, configuration and updating office IT equipment.
- Website maintenance and updating.
- Typing documents and taking notes as needed.
- Managing and organizing office data and information.
- Providing general IT and computer support.
- Installing and maintaining peripherals, including necessary updates and patches.
- Handling routine tasks such as proof-reading, data entry and database maintenance.
- Any other tasks assigned by the competent authority.
