Meezan Bank is looking for dynamic and career-oriented individuals with a passion to serve Riba-free banking in its branch banking team as a Agriculture Finance Officer.
Details are as follows:
Position Title: Agriculture Finance Officer
Location: Multiple Cities Across Pakistan Including AJK & Gilgit-Baltistan
Department: Agriculture Finance Department – Corporate, Commercial & Investment Banking Group
Required Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree preferably an Agri graduate from an HEC recognized institute / university.
- Qualification in Islamic Finance will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Agriculture / Microfinancing / Agriculture Product Marketing
Skills:
- Good oral & written communication skills
- Knowledge of agricultural financing & PRs
- Customer due diligence and financial analysis
- Relationship management skills
- Excellent understanding & fluency in local language(s)
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing agricultural products at the village level and developing business opportunities.
- Processing credit applications, conducting customer visits for verification and market checks.
- Ensuring timely disbursement and recovery of finances.
- Arranging financial literacy and awareness sessions for farmers and liaising with internal stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements for the assigned area
