The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), established in 1985, is one of the largest universities in Pakistan. It offers undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate programmes through its five schools: Suleman Dawood School of Business, Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering, Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law and the School of Education.
LUMS is looking for the services of dynamic and self-motivated professional for the position of “Specialist – Summer School” at Lahore.
Details are as follows:
Position Title: Specialist – Summer School
Location: Lahore
Department: Center for Continuing Education Studies
Position Overview:
The individual will responsible for tasks related to CES and Summer School.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s from a well-reputed and an HEC-recognized University
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. ·
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
Behaviours:
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively within a team to achieve shared objectives.
- Willingness to multitask and take new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Digital Marketing:
- Generate social media content to aid in marketing campaigns’ success.
- Community management across all platforms.
- Develop a marketing strategy for the programmes offered.
- Develop weekly, monthly, and yearly plans/calendars for social media posting.
- Work with the marketing team to create all marketing material.
Outreach:
- Plan information sessions with different schools all across Pakistan.
- Effectively market the programme and build strong linkages with school networks.
Communications:
- Deliver clear, compelling presentations that effectively communicate key messages to various audiences.
- Develop surveys to assess the programme effectiveness and compile qualitative and quantitative data.
Programme Development:
- Research courses, workshops, and programmes that align with the centre’s vision.
- Develop the programme according to the new courses on offer.
- Plan social events and activities/trip during the session.
Faculty:
- Research and coordinate with different individuals to onboard instructors required for the programme.
- Effectivelycommunicate with the instructors for all requirements during the session.
