Borjan is looking for a skilled and qualified professional for the position of Costing Manager at Lahore.

Position Title: Costing Manager
Job Type: Full-time (Permanent)
Location: Lahore
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance/Equivalent
- 5+ years in a manufacturing environment; Footwear industry experience
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of leather shoe costing
- Good knowledge of synthetic shoe costing
- Labor work study standard minutes of work
- Should be proficient in work study
- Must be proficient in the systematic and scientific analysis of work process designed to improve productivity, efficiency and waste reduction
- Understanding of material consumption formulas and grade-based pricing
- Sound knowledge of footwear industry
- Data entry in Microsoft D365
- Cost sheet making
- Should be able to trace pattern accurate and correctly by hand on the graph paper
- Expert level in excel and experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Calculate the cost of different footwear labor and overheads on a regular frequency.
- Verify the accuracy of the bill of materials to ensure material consumption matches the physical usage on the floor.
- Monitor leather yield and chemical wastage, calculating the financial impact of production inefficiencies.
- Develop and maintain formulas for allocating factory overheads (power, rent, maintenance) to each pair of shoes.
- Compare standard cost vs. actual cost and report on significant variances.
- Material issuance.
- Price reconciliation of plan.
- Cost estimation (pattern tracing).
- Materials purchase cost control and regular comparison.
