Position Title: Designer – Women Western
Location: Lahore
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of fabric types, textile printing methods, and garment construction.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of proven experience in designing Western wear women’s/men’s apparel.
- Experience in trend forecasting, mood boards, and seasonal collection development.
- Experience working with export houses or fashion retail brands is a plus.
Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and trend-savvy Textile Western Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing Western apparel collections that reflect current global trends and resonate with our target market.
- Research global fashion trends, colors, patterns, and fabrics to create innovative Western designs.
- Develop seasonal collections, from concept to final product, including mood boards, sketches, and technical specs.
- Create original textile prints, surface ornamentation, and embroidery concepts suitable for Western wear.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure design feasibility, quality standards, and timely execution.
- Coordinate with sourcing and merchandising teams to select appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories.
- Conduct fittings and make necessary design modifications to ensure perfect styling and fit.
- Maintain documentation of design processes, fabric swatches, and product development updates.
- Ensure all designs align with the brand’s identity and market requirements.
Skills Required:
- Excellent sense of style, color, and detail.
- Strong drawing and visualization skills.
- Understanding of Western silhouettes, fits, and construction techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
