Transsion Tecno Electronics (Pvt) Ltd has been set up in Karachi as a 60:40 Joint Venture to produce 4.8 million smartphones per year.
We are looking for a detail-oriented accounting professional for the position of “Accounts Officer ” at Karachi.
Details are as follows:
Position Title: Accounts Officer
Locations: Karachi
Required Qualification & Experience:
- B.Com or equivalent
- 4–5 years in a reputable organization
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of taxation laws, particularly withholding and sales tax.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- High level of accuracy, accountability, and organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire payment and receipt cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle withholding tax processes, including calculation, deduction, and timely deposits.
- Prepare and submit daily financial reports for management review.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- File withholding tax statements in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of sales tax returns.
