The Urban Sector Planning & Management Services Unit (Urban Unit), Planning & Development Board, Government of the Punjab, has been developing sustainable urban solutions for cities in Pakistan since 18 years. We have been playing a pivotal role in re-shaping the urban culture by assisting governments in making urban areas functional, attractive, and sustainable.
Urban Unit is looking for the services of exceptionally sound and self-motivated professionals for the project based position of “Social Mobilizer “ across Punjab.
Details are as follows:
Position: Social Mobilizer
No. of Positions: 41
Employment Status: Contract
Gender: Both
Qualification and Experience:
- 16-year years of education with HEC recognized in Social Sciences
- Fresh candidates can apply
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct awareness sessions to educate the public about the survey’s objectives and importance.
- Engage with local leaders, influencers, and community representatives to facilitate smooth data collection.
- Assist field teams in identifying and reaching target populations, especially in hard-to-access areas.
- Engage communities for socio-economic data collection.
- Conduct awareness campaigns about the registry’s purpose.
- Facilitate coordination between government and local community.
