Exciting Job Opportunity at The Urban Unit.
The Urban Unit was established in 2005 as a Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Planning and Development Department under Government of the Punjab. In 2012, the PMU was transformed into an independent private sector company, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), and is fully owned by Government of the Punjab.
Under the Punjab Socio Economic Registry (PSER) initiative, a large-scale household survey is being conducted to ensure accurate data collection across Punjab. For this purpose, The Urban Unit requires individuals for field surveys.
The Urban Unit seeks applications for the 41 positions of “District Manager” across Punjab.
Details are as follows:

Position: District Manager

No. of Positions: 41

Employment Status: Contract

Gender: Both

Age: 18 – 50

Qualification and Experience:

At least 2nd class MA/MSc. from HEC recognized institute.
Proficiency in the use of IT equipment (Computer/Tablets)
The candidates having 05 experience of any tablet-based / Android survey will be preferred

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and manage Tehsil Supervisors/Trainers and Enumerators.
Ensure smooth coordination between field staff and survey teams.
Oversee training sessions and ensure staff proficiency in IT equipment.
Monitor data accuracy and adherence to survey guidelines.
Review and verify collected data for completeness and correctness.
Provide corrective measures for errors in data collection.
Act as a liaison between Tehsil Supervisors, Regional Coordinators, BOS and Head office.
Address operational issues faced by field teams.
Ensure smooth execution of survey activities across District.
Prepare and submit progress reports on survey activities.
Maintain records of fieldwork, staff performance, and challenges.
