Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) was established under the Punjab Education Foundation Act of 1991 as an autonomous statutory body to promote quality education through Public-Private Partnership, encourage and support the efforts of private sector through technical and financial assistance, innovate and develop new instruments and enable private educational institutions to champion wider educational opportunities at affordable cost to the poor.
PEF looking for the qualified and experienced individuals to hire against vacant positions of “Deputy Managing Director” at Lahore.
Details are as follows:

Monthly Salary: Starting from PKR 718,750
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum of 16 years of education in Sciences, Social Sciences, Business Education, Arts & Humanities from HEC recognized University.
- 20 Years experience including 10 years at leadership and management level.
- Knowledge of functioning of public sector and understanding of public policy, public administration and Governance issues in education sector.
- Experience in program, development, management and coordination.
- Experience of handling multilateral/ bilateral donor funded projects.
- Experience of working with international donor agencies, In country/ abroad will be preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, English writing and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office (word, Excel and Power Point) and Project Management software such as MS-Project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Extends strategic advice to Managing Director on operational matters including policies, processes and systems.
- Develops, reviews, and reports about the concerned wing’s strategy, ensuring that strategic objectives are well understood and executed by reporting heads of Directorate in particular and rest of organization in general.
- Supervises formulation of operations specific policies and planning as part of recommendations to the Managing Director.
- Leads operational target setting exercise of assigned programs and keeps close follow up of their implementation.
- Leads operations of assigned programs and implements plans accordingly.
- Reviews or guides course of action in operational matters, if required.
- Supervises annual budget setting of programs under his/ her control.
- Ensures periodic updates of assigned programs are developed and shared with MD and senior management.
- Ensures that the assigned programs are effectively and efficiently functioning in line with operational plans and objectives.
- Carries out all duties as assigned by the Managing Director
