Planning & Development Board seeks applications from eligible and qualified individuals of Punjab Province for appointment against the position of “Head – Climate Finance Unit” under the ADP Scheme titled as “Climate Finance Unit, Punjab”.
Details are as follows:
Position: Head – Climate Finance Unit

Employment Status: Contract
Salary: 1,200,000 Per Month
Gender: Both
Age: 32 – 50
Qualification:
- Master’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Climate Finance, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field is required.
Experience:
- At least 12 years of total experience (Pre and post qualification included) in public policy, climate finance, environmental policy, or sustainable development, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.
- Working experience with government or semi-government or inter-government setups or national/international organizations at finance and policy levels is preferred.
Job Description:
- Lead the Climate Finance Unit at the Planning & Development Board to strategize, mobilize, and manage climate finance, aligning with Punjab’s climate action plans and international sustainability standards.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with a range of stakeholders including government agencies, financial institutions, international donors, the private sector, and civil society to enhance climate finance mobilization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the CFU, representing Punjab’s climate finance interests at national and international levels, and engaging with external partners to secure support and investment for climate initiatives.
