National Logistics Corporation (NLC) invites applications from competent and highly motivated professional to join against the position of “Manager Information Security” at Rawalpindi.
Details are as follows:
Position: Manager Information Security
Location: Rawalpindi
Age: Up to 55 Years
Required Qualification:
- BS in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field. Preference will be given to MS degree holders.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 ~ 8 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven expertise in risk assessment, incident response, and security architecture.
- Experience managing compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and other regulatory standards.
- Background in working with SOC, CERT, and CSIRT teams.
Skills / Competencies:
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, tools, and methodologies (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls).
- Proficiency with SIEM, IDS / IPS, endpoint protection, and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and crisis management skills.
- Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, and data protection.
- Experience in conducting internal audits and managing third-party assessments.
- Ability to lead incident response and manage cyber crises effectively.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills.
Job Expectation:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s information security strategy and policies.
- Lead security operations including threat monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams (SOC, CERT, CSIRT) to ensure proactive and reactive security measures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and certification standards (ISO, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
- Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and implement remediation plans.
- Raise cybersecurity awareness and lead training initiatives across departments.
- Provide regular reporting on security posture and incidents to senior management.
