The National Commission on the Rights of Child (NCRC) is an independent statutory body established by the Government of Pakistan for the promotion, protection, and fulfilment of children’s rights in Pakistan.
The National Commission on the Rights of Child is looking for the services of exceptionally sound and self-motivated professional for the position of “Director” at Islamabad.

Qualification and Experience:
- Education: : Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB.) or Master’s Degree in Social Work/ Sociology, Economics, Anthropology or Equivalent with 2nd Division from the HEC recognized University.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years experience required
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Ensure child rights policies align with national laws and international conventions like the UNCRC, facilitating their implementation.
- Lead the strategic development/planning, implementation, and oversight of child protection and child rights initiatives.
- Oversee the execution of the commission’s mandate and functions.
- Coordinate with federal and provincial stakeholders for effective collaboration.
- Plan and initiate advocacy programs for child rights protection and promotion.
- Overall manage and supervise the child violation cases across the country.
- Responsible for monitoring and evaluating programs.
- Ensure the implementation of decisions made in the Commission’s board meetings.
- Manage team, collaborate with stakeholders, awareness activities, and drive advocacy efforts to enhance program impact.
- Assembly Business.
- Ensure Development of Annual Reports and submission to the parliament
- Progress reports, briefing & talking points
- Developing Proposals, concept notes and liaison with donor agencies/embassies and CSOs.
- Overseeing research initiatives policy briefs and other publications to ensure quality, accuracy and factual information.
- Any other task assigned by the Secretary or Chairperson of the Commission.
