The National Commission on the Rights of Child (NCRC) is an independent statutory body established by the Government of Pakistan for the promotion, protection, and fulfilment of children’s rights in Pakistan.
The National Commission on the Rights of Child is looking for the services of exceptionally sound and self-motivated professional for the position of “Assistant Director (Programs) at Islamabad.

Qualification and Experience:
- Education: : Masters’ Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Anthropology, or MBA, MPA or LL. B with 2nd Division from the HEC recognized University
- Experience: No Experience Required
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director to ensure the implementation of the mandate and functions of the commission.
- Assist the Director to ensure child rights policies align with national laws and international conventions like the UNCRC, facilitating their implementation.
- Designs, manages, and evaluates child-centered programs, focusing on education, health, child labor and other child protection issues.
- Collaborates with government agencies, NGOs, and international bodies to enhance child protection initiatives.
- Responsible for disposal of child violations cases referred from across the country.
- Plan and execute awareness campaigns, capacity-building sessions, and training programs to promote child protection.
- Assist the Director to liason with provincial & federal departments for enforcement and implementation of child rights.
- Overseeing the social media and website for timely updates.
- Assist the team in developing publications (newsletter, annual report, policy briefs etc).
- Celebration on international days
- Media Coordination
- Assist the Director in progress reporting, drafting, minutes, talking points
- Any other task assigned by the Secretary or Chairperson of the Commission.
