Muslim Hands Pakistan is looking for the services of dynamic and qualified professional for the position of “Donor Support Assistant – ISU” at Islamabad.

Position Title: Donor Support Assistant – ISU
Location: Islamabad
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to provide administrative support as directed by the department to the programme’s teams within the ISU-supported offices. This role will play an important role in supporting internal communication, delivery of programmes and reporting.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Communications, International Development, Social Sciences, or a related discipline)
Experience:
- At least 02 to 03 years of equivalent work experience in a similar administrative or programme support role.
Required Skills:
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to respond professionally and accurately to donor queries.
- Proven experience in a donor support, customer service, or administrative role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- High attention to detail, particularly in written correspondence and reporting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with various stakeholders and departments.
- Commitment to the mission, values, and humanitarian principles of Muslim Hands.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively in multicultural, multidisciplinary, and international teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor engagement and communication
- Support the designated ISU-office with maintaining and strengthening the relationship with donors through regular communication, and timely distribution of donor feedback reports and project updates.
- Respond to incoming donor email queries in a professional manner across multiple inboxes and ensure queries are correctly allocated to the appropriate team where necessary.
- Stay updated on programme and campaign information to answer any incoming queries.
- Contribute to improving the donor’s journey with Muslim Hands by suggesting areas of improvement and sharing of feedback internally.
- Support the preparation and sharing of donor feedback and reporting as instructed, especially for WASH and Orphan Sponsorship.
Major Donor Strategy
- Support the department in delivering its Major Donor Recruitment and Retention Strategy across designated ISU-supported offices.
- Facilitate the development of major donor profiles and guidance notes on donor priorities.
- Assist in developing strategies to expand the donor base, including research and mapping of funding trends.
- Highlight major donor opportunities to management.
- Coordination and administrative responsibilities
- Liaising with internal departments to gather accurate information and ensure effective resolution of donor queries and concerns.
- Draft minutes from meetings and follow up on action points.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining effective internal communication channels.
- Ensure requests from other departments are logged, assigned to the relevant team members, and tracked through to completion in a timely manner.
- Prepare summaries, briefings and updates as required for internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with media and content creation teams to ensure donor feedback videos and reports are completed within deadlines and shared.
- Logging, updating, and managing donor complaints in line with organisational policies, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Adhere to MH’s policies and procedures while carrying out responsibilities.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the department.
