Great Job Opportunity of 2025 at Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB).
MOCC seeks applications from qualified and self-motivated individuals for the position of “Non Ex-officio Members” for Islamabad Wildlife Management Board. The appointment of Non Ex-officio Members shall be on contract basis initially for a period of three years and may be eligible for re-appointment for one further three years terms subject to Federal Government’s Approval, on such terms and conditions; including remuneration and allowances, as may be prescribed by rules made under Islamabad Nature Conservation and Wildlife Management Act, 2024.

Age: Up to 67 years
Location: Islamabad
Qualification & Experience::
- Ph.D. / Masters in the sphere of bio-diversity or wildlife management or any other ancillary field.
- Seven (07) years experience in case of Ph.D.
- Nine (09) years experience in case of Masters
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer and implement the provisions of this Act, rules, regulations, policies, guidelines and directives issued thereunder;
- Make policies, draw plans, including management plans and programmes for protection, promotion, preservation, conservation and management of nature in Protected Areas;
- Implement policies, plans, including management plans and programmes for protection, promotion, preservation, conservation and management of nature in Protected Areas;
- Prepare, submit, promote, implement or execute projects for the protection, conservation, rehabilitation and improvement of wildlife in Protected Areas;
- Implement all directions with respect to development and maintenance of areas designated by the Federal Government as protected areas;
- Every three years prepare and publish a report on the state of nature in Protected Areas;
- Propose to the Administrative Division suitable projects for submission to international and local institutions for funding;
- Prepare policy papers and concept notes and provide technical input for formulating national policy positions for international conferences or negotiations;
- Work in collaboration with relevant Government Agencies, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders, and after conducting relevant research and studies set targets and coordinate actions with respect to the objectives of this Act;
- Request Auditor General of Pakistan to audit the accounts of the Board; and
- To make regulations, subject to approval of the Federal Government, for carrying out the purposes of this Act.
Terms & Conditions:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
- Ministry reserves the right not to fill any of the advertised position without assigning any reasons thereof.
- No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates called for interview.
- All the terms and conditions of a non ex-officio member of the Board given in the Islamabad Nature Conservation & Wildlife Management Act, 2024 and Rules made hereunder will be applicable on each Member of the Board.
- Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of relevant experience / education and expertise in the field.
Disqualification:
No person shall be eligible for, or hold appointment as Non Ex-officio Members who:
- If he/she is convicted of a criminal offence involving fraud, dishonesty, corruption or violence;
- Is or becomes bankrupt or suspends payment or compounds with his/her creditors
- The persons being employed under this process shall submit to the government an affidavit declaring their non-involvement in any other relevant business / job which may tantamount to conflict of interest.
