In this pivotal role, you will directly report to the Head, Sales.

Position Title: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Lahore
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in FMCG/ Sales
- Demonstrated track record of successful negotiations, influence and overall relationship management (both internal and external).
- Strong understanding of P&L.
- Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability and desire to contribute to wider team performance and culture.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong ownership and growth mindset.
- Proficient in MS Office, BI Tools & G-suite
Job Responsibilities:
Sale conversions/On-boarding of new vendors
- Lead team of sales executives to attain and exceed monthly and quarterly individual and team sales targets for acquiring new vendors in assigned territory.
- Focus on acquiring key accounts/local heroes to encourage variety in the customer database resulting in a boost in orders/GMV.
- Winback vendors that have churned.
- Sign up restaurants, shops, pandago partners. Critical in helping add high-quality vendors to our platform.
Incubation of new vendors
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Performance of new vendors, ensuring all operational KPIs are being followed (orders, RPO, ratings, fail rate, offline hours, DLP/DLDs)
- Measure performance and growth using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques for all cities in the region
Sales Strategy/Enablement
- Consistently drive and monitor the sales activity of the team and ensure necessary activity is achieved to sustain a continuous pipeline of prospects and flow of sales, optimize the sales process to drive efficiency for the sales teams.
- Hire, train, and develop Sales Executives in selling business strategy, products through presentation and soft skills.
- Ability to lead by example and step in when and where needed to pitch, negotiate, and ultimately close deals for the team with a high level of expertise, professionalism, and service.
- Inventory Mapping – Increasing foodpanda market penetration through inventory mapping of each vertical city-wise.
- Zonal area extension/expansion – Survey the market to identify new partnership opportunities, and assist in improving inventory in new and existing coverage regions.
Category Expansions
- Scaling the shops vertical with additions of new categories.
- Manage and grow partnerships with key strategic partners for foodpanda within new categories.
People Management
- Managing a team of 19 employees, with 2 DRs and 17 region-wide sales members.
- Delegation of sales targets across all verticals.
- Contribute to the development and performance of the reporting team by providing coaching, feedback, and guidance.
- Setting and supervising team performance and KPIs on a daily, weekly & monthly basis.
Stakeholder Management
- Managing effective internal and external relationships.
- Represent foodpanda as a brand ambassador
- Establish, maintain, and manage strong relationships with vendors, and prospects.
- Liaise with different functions (marketing, operations, finance, etc) to ensure healthy growth of vendors and a smooth experience.
- Understand and meet the needs of potential partners and immediately build a trust relationship in several cities.
