Directorate General of Archaeology, Government of the Punjab invites applications from eligible and qualified individuals having Punjab Domicile, for the ADP Project titled “Capacity Building of Directorate General of Archaeology”. Duration of project is up to 30-6-2027 or completion of project. Directorate General of Archaeology is hiring “Communication Officer”.
Details are as follows:
Position Title: Communication Officer
No. of Positions: 01
Monthly Salary: 190,000 (lump-sum)
Employment Status: Contract
Gender: Both
Age: 25 – 35
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, or related field required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the relevant field.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage social media platforms of department and Respond to public inquiries.
- Prepare and distribute press releases, news articles, Interviews and other media communications.
- Arrange and Monitor media coverage on departmental events.
- Develop content for the department’s website, social media, newsletters, and publications.
- Mitigate negative publicity and Identify opportunities for positive publicity and public engagement.
- Any other work/duty assigned.
