Job Description:
The Manager Interior Design is responsible for the detailed design development, execution oversight, and coordination of all interior works in line with approved design schemes and site requirements. The role translates strategic concepts into executable design deliverables.
Qualification and Experience:
- 16 years of education in Architecture /Architectural Engineering
- 07 years of post-qualification experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed interior layouts, reflective ceiling plans, material palettes, and joinery details based on approved design concepts and project briefs.
- Conduct material sampling, supplier coordination, and preparation of finish boards for review and approval by the Senior Manager and GM Planning & Design.
- Prepare accurate working drawings, technical submittals, and coordination drawings for site execution and cross-functional alignment.
- Oversee the implementation of furniture layouts, fixture placement, and integration with architectural and MEP systems on-site.
- Liaise with vendors for sample submissions, shop drawings, and mock-ups, ensuring compliance with specifications and project timelines.
- Assist in the preparation of BOQs, material specifications, and comparative analyses for procurement processes under supervision.
- Conduct regular site visits, quality inspections, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with senior project managers and contractors.
- Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, approvals, and materials for audit and project tracking purposes.
- Maintain current knowledge of material innovations, interior trends, and local sourcing options to suggest context-relevant design enhancements.
