We are looking for the services of exceptionally sound and self-motivated professional for the position of “Manager Procurement Business Services” at Karachi.
Details are as follows:
Position Title: Manager Procurement Business Services
Qualification and Experience:
- BBA / MBA (Preferred) from a reputed institution. Relevant certification (CIPS, CSCP) is a plus.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in procurement, with a focus on business services, packaging or related categories.
Competencies:
- Proven track record in supplier selection, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement tools, vendor management systems, and contract management software.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of SAP MM and SAP Ariba modules.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Job Purpose & Responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to develop and execute procurement strategies for business services category that align with our business objectives, ensuring cost savings, efficiency, and innovation. As a procurement business partner, you will work closely with the Business Services functions to understand their needs and align them with procurement goals. You will manage the entire sourcing lifecycle, including RFI/RFP processes, supplier evaluation, and negotiations.
Principle accountabilities for this job will be as follows:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for business services that align with business kpis and objectives that drive cost savings, efficiency, and innovation.
- Act as a procurement business partner to the Business Services functions across all regions, understanding their needs and ensuring alignment with procurement objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of business services.
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, including RFI/RFP processes, evaluation of proposals, negotiations, and onboarding of suppliers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
- Oversee the creation, negotiation, and review of contracts, ensuring they meet business, commercial and legal requirements.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage contract terms, renewals, and amendments.
- Conduct regular spend analysis and benchmarking to ensure the company receives the best value.
- Lead and support team members, guiding them in their day-to-day operations and professional development.
- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier relationships and contract agreements.
