Position Title: Key Account Manager – Other Mobile Operators & Miscellaneous Accounts (Deodar)
Location: Islamabad
Job Purpose:
The Key Account Manager (KAM) – Other Mobile Operators & Miscellaneous Accounts will be responsible for managing key relationships with Ufone, Telenor, and Zong, as well as government and military organizations, hotels, malls, and other enterprise clients. This role requires a strategic and commercially driven professional with strong industry relationships, financial acumen, and the ability to work closely with Deodar’s product team to develop competitive solutions in a price-sensitive market.
The KAM (Deodar) will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, ensuring service excellence, and identifying new business opportunities across multiple segments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5-8 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the telecom or infrastructure industry.
- Strong relationships with key decision-makers in mobile operators (Ufone, Telenor, Zong) and enterprise segments (government, military, hospitality, real estate).
- Proven track record in managing high-value B2B accounts, negotiating contracts, and driving revenue growth.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in pricing strategies, revenue forecasting, and contract negotiations.
- Ability to develop new product strategies and work with cross-functional teams to bring solutions to market.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

Job Responsibilities:
Account Management & Relationship Building
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Ufone, Telenor, Zong, and miscellaneous accounts, ensuring a strong and collaborative relationship.
- Leverage strong industry connections to strengthen Deodar’s partnerships with MNOs and enterprise clients.
- Understand customer pain points and work proactively to address operational and commercial concerns.
- Ensure seamless contract execution, governance, and service-level compliance with all assigned accounts.
Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new tenancy opportunities, infrastructure sharing models, and customized solutions for different customer segments.
- Collaborate with the product team to develop new offerings tailored to MNOs and enterprise clients.
- Explore strategic partnerships with government entities, military installations, commercial enterprises, and real estate developers to expand Deodar’s market footprint.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Ensure profitable account management by optimizing pricing strategies in a cost-sensitive market.
- Conduct financial analysis, revenue forecasting, and cost-benefit assessments to support pricing decisions.
- Monitor billing, collections, and contract compliance, ensuring timely payments and mitigating financial risks.
Product Development & Market Strategy
- Work closely with the product team to develop innovative solutions for customers, including customized telecom infrastructure, small cell deployments, and in-building solutions for hotels and malls.
- Provide market intelligence to inform product development, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
- Identify emerging trends such as 5G infrastructure needs and smart city initiatives, aligning Deodar’s offerings with future market demands.
Operational Coordination & Customer Support
- Liaise with Deodar’s operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and issue resolution.
- Work closely with internal teams to enhance service quality, network availability, and maintenance efficiency for key accounts.
- Proactively monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) and ensure compliance with contractual commitments.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Provide regular account performance updates to the Account Director – Other Accounts and senior management.
- Track and analyze revenue performance, contract utilization, and operational KPIs for each assigned account.
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, payments, and reconciliations for all managed accounts.
