Askari Bank hiring “Area Sales Manager – Consumer Assets” at Karachi.
This position is responsible to ensure the mobilization of consumer business through branches by capitalizing on existing customer base of the branch and market potential to achieve assigned sales target in a given area. It includes managing of business through Sales officers placed at branches.
Details are as follows:

Location:   Consumer Banking, Karachi

Job Type: Full Time/Regular

Grade:       AVP & below

Job Specification/Requirements:

  • 6 – 8 years’ experience in consumer banking department and 3 to 4 years relevant experience.
  • Bachelor / Master’s degree from a reputable institute.
  • Sales, Marketing & Consumer Finance
  • Strong knowledge of products and industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Awareness of industry norms and values for improvement in business growth
  • Knowledge of Internal Bank Credit Policy, Sales and Marketing Management.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • To facilitate in formulation and Implementation of business development plans to expand market share and explore new sales opportunities for maximizing sales portfolio of consumer products. Discuss periodic performance with sales team and provide guidelines to them for achieving assigned targets. Shall ensure the mobilization of consumer business through branches by capitalizing on existing customer base of the branch and also bring new accounts to achieve assigned sales target.
  • Coordination with all stake holders on submitted cases for meeting assigned targets and provide feedback for improvement in process & systems.
  • Attend customer complaints and ensuring prompt resolution for improving the quality services.
  • Prepare training plan for enhancing sales volume by intense training of sales
  • Staff by supervising on-job training, training seminars and meetings.
  • To monitor cases in the Application Tracking System (ATS) and completing all necessary formalities / documents and to ensure maximum approval / disbursement on submitted cases for meeting the assigned approval rate / sales targets.
  • Responsible for vigilance of loan cases & monitoring the conduct and activities of Sales Staff to ensure prevention of fraud in new acquisition.
  • To ensure that loan’s acquisition is in comply with group policies and prudential regulations.
