Grade: OG-I & Below 

Job Purpose / Summary:

The Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for new hires from the time of offer acceptance until successful integration into the Bank. The role involves coordinating pre-boarding activities, managing documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and acting as the primary point of contact for new employees to provide guidance, clarity, and support.

Job Specification/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree/HR certification will be an added advantage.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR/Talent Acquisition, with at least 1 year focused on onboarding, orientation.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for all new hires across the Bank.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders (HR Operations, IT, Admin, Line Managers, etc.) to ensure readiness of system access, equipment, and workplace before new hire’s joining.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions, introducing employees to the Bank’s culture, values, policies, and processes.
  • Track and monitor onboarding progress through HR systems and generate onboarding dashboards/reports for management review.
  • Maintain candidate experience standards by providing timely updates, resolving queries, and ensuring a positive journey for all new joiners.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team to enhance onboarding practices, tools, and communication templates.
  • Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to drive efficiency, compliance, and employee engagement in onboarding.
  • Support HR projects related to induction, engagement, and process automation as assigned.
