Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) was established under the Punjab Education Foundation Act of 1991 as an autonomous statutory body to promote quality education through Public-Private Partnership, encourage and support the efforts of private sector through technical and financial assistance, innovate and develop new instruments and enable private educational institutions to champion wider educational opportunities at affordable cost to the poor.
PEF looking for the qualified and experienced individuals to hire against vacant positions of “Additional Director”.
Details are as follows:

Position: Additional Director

Location: Lahore

No. of Positions: 05

Employment Status: Contract

Gender: Both

Age: 22 – 48

Qualification and Experience:

Minimum of 16 years of education in Sciences, Social Sciences, Business Education, Arts & Humanities from HEC recognized University.
At least 8 Years post qualification experience at managerial level.
Must have at least above mentioned relevant experience in the field of planning, management, administration and capacity building at organization level.
Experience of work with Government Agencies, NGOs, international and domestic donors and knowledge of Pakistan’s education sector will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

To supervise/ guide Deputy Directors/ Assistant Directors/ Officers in preparation of notings/ letters/ reports etc.
To supervise monthly payments of partner schools as per approved SOPs.
To take appropriate actions against complaints/ monitoring reports/ requests etc as per rules/ policies/ SOP
To evaluate stop payment cases and guide staff for further process till closure
To supervise school selection under IRCS/any phase from preparation of advertisement till agreement signing.
To prepare circulars/ letters/ noting as per directions of Director
Implementation of BOD decisions
Conduct surprise monitoring of schools and QAT activity.
Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.

Important Note:

The appointment will be on contract basis for one year, extendable on the basis of satisfactory performance.
The post carries competitive market based salary & other benefits. How- ever in case of Government servant, salary will be fixed as per prevalent Government policy.
Experience of unpaid jobs/free-lancer, unpaid internship, part time, work experience compulsory for degree program will not be accepted.
Experience of working in medium size/large size organizations will only be considered.
