Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), the apex body of the ministry of IT and Telecommunication is hiring “Director Marketing & Branding” at Islamabad.

Position Title: Director Marketing & Branding
No. of Positions: 01
Employment Status: Contract
Age: Maximum 50 years as of deadline for application submission.
Report To: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and plays a critical role in shaping over all industry image, positioning, and growth trajectory.
Location: Islamabad, frequent local or international travels if required
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 16 years of education in branding/ marketing / Business Administration / strategic management or a related field from HEC recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of post qualification experience in leading branding and marketing role, digital marketing, and campaign management. The candidate must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams.
- Candidates with experience in IT/Tech sector will be preferred for this role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM software, social media platforms). Familiarity with public relations and crisis management strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to meet business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Oversee multi-channel campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and traditional marketing efforts.
- Lead the creation of high-quality, engaging, and brand-aligned multimedia content (e.g., videos, graphics, blogs, podcasts).
- Establish and maintain a strong, consistent brand identity and messaging across all platforms.
- Guide the creation of brand guidelines and ensure compliance by internal teams and external partners.
- Monitor brand performance and take corrective measures to enhance visibility and reputation.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing and branding team, fostering creativity and collaboration.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure effective campaign execution.
- Set performance goals and evaluate the team’s contributions to organizational objectives.
- Oversee the creation of engaging, high-quality content that aligns with the brand’s voice and values.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling narratives for campaigns, websites, and advertisements.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
- Manage PR efforts, including press releases, media events, and crisis communication plans.
- Represent the organization at key industry events and conferences.
- Comfortable being on podcasts or representing Pakistan on domestic and international stages and media
- Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and overall brand performance.
- Provide data-driven insights and reports to senior management, recommending adjustments as necessary.
- Establish KPIs for marketing efforts and ensure continuous improvement.
